ARLINGTON ROW (9) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in second over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Big chance based on that effort. MELIAN (7) is a Street Boss gelding from the stakes-winning mare Palurien. Impressed in winning a trial at Cranbourne with this rider Craig Williams aboard. Bold showing expected. BON EROS (6) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing ninth over 1m at Seymour at the latest appearance on October 12. Trialling well leading into this. Sure to be competitive. ON MY OWN (5) was unplaced two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 5f at Pakenham, beaten 2 lengths into fourth. Finds a nice race and can atone.
