REGAL TYCOON (7) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by half a length over 6½f at Geelong. Should be prominent again from the low draw. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. AL PRANCER (5) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a nose over 6½f at this track last time out. Worth following up. PRIMAL SPIRIT (1) faded last time to finish ninth over 6f at Caulfield Heath after showing good early speed. Strong record with Thomas Stockdale in the irons, including a win. One of the main contenders. COSMIC CHARGER (14) was in the money two starts back at Echuca but was unable to repeat the effort last time when eighth, beaten 6 lengths, at Pakenham over 7f. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
