LES BRAVES (1) started this prep with a win two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when prominent at the turn before winding up in fourth over 6½f at Seymour, beaten 0. 8 lengths. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. SMARTICON (6) was rewarded with his maiden success last start, scoring by half a length over 5½f at Geelong. Looks well placed and he looks sure to be in the mix. ELONIA (8) was an impressive winner last time over 5f125yards at Kyneton, leading throughout and putting 5. 5 lengths on her rivals. Another bold showing expected.
