OROVERO (1) broke through for his maiden win over 6f at Pakenham last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Shaping up nicely and he is a key runner. GROUSE MOUNTAIN (6) was right in contention when they turned for home and kept finding to finish third last start over 6f at this track, beaten 0.9 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. WILD DANCER (3) raced on the speed from the outset and went to score by a nose last time over 6f at Geelong. Drawn to enjoy a nice run just off the speed. Will be in this for a long way. ROYAL HILL (2) registered his first win when resuming last start over 6f at Seymour, getting home by one length. Re-unites with Logan McNeil who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
