STRAPPARSI (2) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths at Pakenham over 5f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HOT PURSUIT (7) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 4/09/2024, finishing eighth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Yet to miss the placings here in an excellent record which boasts two wins and one placing. Definite top-three chance.
