HUGHES (2) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed when resuming last start then stuck on well to finish 1.75 lengths away in second over 7f at Seymour. Placed to advantage and can feature in the finish. MONTJEUIFY (5) has had two runs since a break, the latest a fifth over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 1.75 lengths. ANILLA (1) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing seventh at Sandown-Lakeside. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Should be involved in the finish. ROCK THE BAR (6) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 7f at Morphettville Parks. That followed a win at Geelong the start prior. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
