DECCAN ODYSSEY (1) was prominent into the straight last time but was overwhelmed late and wound up in fifth over 6¼f at Geelong. Among the chances in what looks a nice race for him. MENZAH ONE (3) resumes from a lay-off of six months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 5½f at Ballarat Synthetic. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Ballarat trial. Solid top-three hope.
