HIGHLY INTRIGUED (3) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by one length over 6½f at Swan Hill. Open to plenty of improvement and she looks hard to stop again. SO REGAL (9) resumed three-and-a-half weeks ago over 7¼f at Kilmore and was only beaten 2 lengths into fourth after being in the firing line on the turn. Going up a level this time but she is up to the challenge. DOUBTFREE (13) settled well back last start and never threatened when 6 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6½f at Wagga. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. DEELING ACES (6) is a six-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Craig Widdison stable. Hasn't raced since finishing 11th at Hamilton seven months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and looks well placed. Shapes as a top-three chance.
