Set Weights EET TREATS (8) gave away a considerable start over 7f at Wagga last time before hitting the line well to finish fifth. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and the extra ground looks a big plus. Well placed and hard to hold off. STAR BLAZER (3) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 5. 5 lengths into tenth over 6½f at Echuca. Meets some better types this time but a better run will not surprise. PHILADELPHIA STORM (1) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a long neck, over 1m at Albury when returning from a lay-off. Goes well at this journey with three wins from nine starts and is all set to run a big race. WALK THE PIER (6) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4. 5 lengths from the winner in tenth over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Nicely placed to find some form.
