SPEED OF GOLD (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Scone, beaten 6 lengths into 14th. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. RITA RED (8) resumes from a three-and-a-half months lay-off and looked close to a win before the break, starting favourite and finishing third at Grenfell. Has the benefit of a low draw. Rates highly and is a strong chance to take this out. EXPLOSIVE STYLE (4) returns from a lay-off of 11 weeks and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished seventh at Albury over 4½f when when resuming last time in work. Well-placed and is among the chances. BLESSING SEASON (7) is back after a break of three-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff she finished sixth over 5f at Jerilderie. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Albury trial. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
