ROCKBARTON SHOUT (2) progressed nicely last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just a nose from the winner in second over 4½f at Albury after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect another big run. GAELIC GIRL (7) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth over 4½f at Albury. Likely improver with strong prospects. IT'S THE MILKMAN (9) is back after a break of five-and-a-half months. At the last run before the layoff he finished ninth over 7f at Wodonga. Opened last prep with a minor placing at this track over 6f. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. NOBLE NIGHTCRAWLER (11) never really threatened when resuming last time out, finishing midfield and beaten 6 lengths over 5½f at Benalla. Will drift back but wind up late. Must be respected.
