Race Tip

TIMANA (6) was in the frame attempting a pair of Dundalk maidens that have worked out reasonably well. Now provides turf debut adopting first-time cheekpieces tackling a shorter trip. Can make her presence felt. THE BEAR TRAP (2) is without a win after eleven starts. Finished second on four occasions and is clearly on a workable mark. BASILAH BEAR (1) was progressive last year and is sure to strip fitter for comeback run at Gowran. CHOU CHOU (14) has performed creditably recently. Likely thereabouts at the finish if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.
