SHAWAAMEKH (2) is almost on the same mark as when winning this race two years ago. Finished second both outings this year and holds strong claims as long as the ground doesn’t get too quick. His stable companion MINDTHEGAP (1) regressed when trained in Britain. Looks reasonably well-treated and a first-time visor could help. SUPERIOR FORCE (4) has not won in nearly three years. Some recent efforts suggest he is capable from this mark. Previous course winner RUN FORREST RUN (8) is another to consider after an encouraging effort at Limerick recently.
