COELLA (13) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 5½f at Narromine after being in the firing line on the corner. Facing a tougher assignment but she is good enough to take this out. CURLY BEND (12) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a neck from the winner in second over 5f at Dubbo after being prominent at the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be overlooked. CLEVER COOKIE (6) is a 10-start maiden who could only manage to finish eighth at her latest appearance over 6½f at Dubbo. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment. HUTT STREET (2) is back after a break of five months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 6f at Mudgee. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Muswellbrook trial. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
