STRANGLEHOLD (2) has returned in good shape this campaign. Opened with a third at Ipswich two starts back then scored by 2. 25 lengths last time out over 7f at Gold Coast. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot score again. HIGHLAND HUSTLE (11) was comfortably accounted for when seventh last time out over 1m3f at Grafton, beaten 7 lengths. That followed a win at Port Macquarie at the previous outing. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. REDADEL (5) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished second at Grafton two starts back then landed the prize by 1. 5 lengths as favourite last time out over 1m2 1/2f at Tuncurry. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form he is one of the key runners. ZOU BIG BOY (1) hasn't raced since filling a minor placing at Grafton over 1m seven-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a recent trial at Coffs Harbour. Cannot be taken lightly.
