KNIGHT DANCER (1) turned in a fair run when returning from a break last start over 5¼f at Morphettville, finishing 3. 5 lengths from the winner in seventh. Has a very strong record at this course with two wins from three starts. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will prove tough to beat. MY CRACKLING (5) finished 3. 5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 7f at Balaklava, an improvement on his sixth at Morphettville the run before. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. LORD MORTON (2) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at Wentworth, beaten a long neck. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. REAL VALENTIA (3) was beaten 4 lengths into ninth in a 5¼f contest at Morphettville last time out. Nicely placed to find some form.
