DODD (2) turned in a strong run last time when second at Strathalbyn just seven days ago. Backing up quickly over the longer journey. Has the inside gate and should be in the finish. A BIG CHANCE (3) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 7½f at Gawler, finishing fourth and beaten 2 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. WHITCHETY GRUB (11) met with solid support last start over 1m2f at Mildura when third, beaten 4 lengths. This trip suits so worth another chance. I LOVE THIS SONG (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when eighth over 1m1f at Morphettville, beaten 8 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
