Finds the right race this time and can rediscover winning form. FLYIN' FOR US (14) was too good for a maiden field last start over 5½f at this track, scoring by half a length. Serious contender again with the confidence high. NOVUS ACTUS (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Murray Bridge, beaten 8 lengths into 12th. This is a nice drop in grade so he is sure to be prominent. FRENCH ROCK (10) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing sixth at Port Lincoln over 5f after he was well back on straightening. Well placed and can run a better race.
