LINEBACKER (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 6f at Ellis Park, beaten 9 lengths. Has the ability to figure prominently. COLONEL CALIENTE (4) broke through for his maiden win over 7f at Ellis Park (Dirt) last time, scoring comfortably. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. CHANCE (7) is back at the races for the first time since June 27. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at this track. One to consider.
