Goes very well when fresh from a lay-off with one wins from two starts so he is likely to figure in the finish. FORT BRAGG (5) returned from a break last start with a mediocre fourth over 7f in the G3 San Carlos Stakes at Santa Anita (Dirt) after travelling back in the field from the outset. Worth noting J J Hernandez goes aboard. Taking on a better line-up this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. When resuming over 5½f in the g2 shakertown stakes at keeneland (turf), beaten 7 lengths. Jose Ortiz who has two wins when partnering stays on. One of the contenders. HAPPY IS A CHOICE (4) is a talented gelding who was well held last time in tougher grade over 6f in the G3 Whitmore Stakes at Oaklawn Park (Dirt). Has a formidable record at this journey with five wins and three placings from 11 starts and cannot be taken lightly.
