PACIFIC PIRATE (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 7f at Gatton. Has the class to take care of this field. WHEREDACRAWDADSING (10) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 7f at Armidale. Has a decent record at this trip with four minor placings from five tries and shapes as a key contender. BLACK 'N' DEADLY (11) resumed over 6f at Jandowae last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 0.6 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is expected to run well again. LONDON POINT (14) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was beaten 3 lengths into ninth over 6f at Warwick. Fitter and sure to run well.
