WANT TO BE PROUD (2) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Should tighten right up following that outing. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. BRAVE COWBOY BILL (16) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing ninth over 5½f at Beaudesert most recently.
