Likely improver with strong prospects. FABELMAN (6) finds it hard to win with just one success from 23 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 7f at this track. Placed to advantage and can make his presence felt. DIRBAS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 16 lengths into fifth. Well placed to make amends.
