ALVY (5) was a determined winner in a then drifted back last time and finished 32 lengths away in fourth over 1m1/2f at Penn National (Dirt). Terrific chance to return to the winners' list. PIT STOP MAN (4) saluted at the first run back from a lay-off last start over 6f at Laurel (Dirt), scoring by 2.25 lengths. Has been given a let-up of seven weeks since that outing. Open to plenty of improvement and must be respected. ZEN MASTER (3) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last start over 6f at Mahoning Valley (Dirt), beaten 4 lengths. Has started six times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. C Hiraldo gets the best out of this six-year-old gelding. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. BATTLE OF BASTOGNE (6) produced a better run last start, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 7f at this track. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
