AMBITIOUS CREEK (1) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish second over 1m2f at Naracoorte. Will take catching. MISSILE STAR (5) finished 6 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6¾f at Port Lincoln a week-and-a-half ago. Steps up in journey. Solid winning chance. LOOKS LIKE A LADY (6) hit the frame with a 2.5 lengths third on turf at Port Lincoln two starts back. Disappointed last time though, again on the turf, at Port Lincoln over 6¾f when 10 lengths from the winner in 11th. In the mix on best and gets chance to atone. FUNNY LEGS (4) turned in another moderate effort last start when 7 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6f at Port Lincoln. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
