DELLEAN (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 5¼f at Kingscote after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. SIR DALAPENA (4) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 19/02/2023, finishing 12th and beaten 20 lengths over 6¾f at Port Lincoln. Should be hard to stop. JUST THE POTION (8) finished 12th last start over 6f at Port Lincoln after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and expected to feature. SON OF SHAMUS (5) is a four-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 10 lengths when tenth over 6f at Port Lincoln. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
