SIRIUS STATEMENT (8) has been low flying recently, lifting strongly to score over 1m at Mornington at the most recent appearance to make it two straight victories. Has a formidable combination with Jamie Mott who has been aboard for her last two wins. Sure to run well. CINEMATIC STAR (16) made a strong late bid but just failed to pick up the winner when fresh from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is one of the key runners. LOVAZOU (3) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing third last time when she was prominent throughout over 7f at Flemington. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. AVEBURY (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 5½f at this track after being prominent until the final stages. Good enough on her day and can play a prominent role.
