Group 1 placegetter KUROYANAGI (5) ran on strongly only to just miss when when resuming as favourite last start over 5¼f in the LR Lightning Stakes at Morphettville. Sure to derive great benefit from that run. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is up to the challenge. MANOLO BLING (7) got the job done in grand style last start, scoring by 1.3 lengths over this journey at this track after stalking the lead. Goes up a notch this time but should measure up. Group 3 winner DRIFTING (1) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Peter Snowden yard. Finished off last campaign with a seventh in the G2 Percy Sykes Stakes at Randwick four-and-a-half months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and won on debut to launch last prep. Leading prospect. Group 3 placegetter ARABIAN SUMMER (4) is a talented galloper who scored at her last run before a break in a tougher race over 5¼f at Doomben. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Harry Coffey who has scored on her three times retains the mount. Deserves respect.
