PLATINUM DESTROYER (5) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1.75 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton after being in the firing line on the bend. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. PURVEYOR (6) is fresh from a lay-off of five months and it is worth noting he has scored at the past two when resuming runs, last prep over 6¾f at Ipswich. Expect him to pose a serious challenge. AUSTRATA (3) finished third at Pakenham two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m1f at this track, finishing 4.5 lengths back in sixth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. SCHWEINSTEIGER (7) produced a better run last start at the second run of the campaign, beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 1m at Bairnsdale. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
