RICH CHAMPAGNE (1) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1m2f at Bordertown. Bold showing expected. THE TRUE BELIEVER (5) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Murtoa, finishing third and only 1.75 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m2 1/4f. Can figure in the finish.
