NORWOODS (2) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Warrnambool, beaten 7 lengths into tenth after being prominent at the bend. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. HOODYS HORSE (1) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 4.5 lengths over 7f at this track. Shaping up nicely and he is one of the main chances. THE WOKE WAITER (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1m at Echuca when he did his best work late. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. HAATHER (6) finished third at Pakenham Synthetic two runs back but didn't measure up last time over 1m at Pakenham Synthetic, finishing 6 lengths back in ninth. Looks well placed so expect a better run this time.
