REDELLA (11) doesn't have the best strike rate but ran a strong race when resuming from a lay-off last time out over 1m3 3/4f at Warrnambool, finishing second and beaten one length after being prominent at the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done. MIGHTY GEORGE (7) was in the money two starts back at Avoca but couldn't back it up last time when 12th, beaten 1.5 lengths, at Warrnambool over 1m2f. Has the class to figure prominently. COLONEL HATHI (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m1 1/2f at Kyneton, scoring by 2 lengths. Will Gordon was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Harder here but should be involved in the finish. CRUX (2) met with strong support when he resumed two weeks ago over 1m1f at Horsham and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
