Not as effective last time out when seventh over 1m2f at Caulfield, beaten 4.5 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Enjoys a drop in grade so he is a major player. PICAROON (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool two-and-a-half weeks ago. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. FLOSSING (16) showed little early speed last start then came with a powerful run to finish third over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool. Well placed and is among the chances.
