MISS UCHITEL (4) has been freshened since finishing sixth over 7¾f at Murwillumbah. Kept up to the mark with a recent Deagon trial. Has ability and should be right in the finish. HARD TO DISMISS (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 6½f at Toowoomba. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be underestimated. KOZANI (2) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was prominent at the corner before being beaten 4 lengths into sixth over 6¾f at Doomben. Faces an easier assignment so he is a key runner. VON BEE (5) has not won for a long while. Last raced on June 25 when beaten 10 lengths into tenth at Doomben over 6¾f after being in contention on the corner. Finds a suitable assignment and can turn things around.
