GLAM (10) stepped out for her debut over 5½f at Doomben back on April 4 and finished fifth, beaten 1.4 lengths. Better for the run and can improve sharply. ARCHIE MAXIMUS (3) has two placings from three runs this campaign, most recently finishing second as favourite over 5f130yards at Grafton. Handy draw will assist. Will prove tough to beat. SOUTHAMPTON FLARE (15) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he was never in contention over 5½f at Doomben, beaten 3 lengths into seventh. Finds a suitable assignment and can take this out. MONTE BRAVEHEART (21) is a five-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Noel Mayfield-Smith stable. Resumes after finishing tenth at Canberra at his last run six-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for placing in a Grafton trial and is in a nice race. Not to be underestimated.
