SPEEDY NOVA (8) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth in a 5½f contest at Bunbury two weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a nice race and can take this out. CITY MISTRESS (4) knuckled down strongly to get within 0.8 lengths of the winner in second last start over 5f at this track. Among the leading chances. REQUISITION (1) did little and finished 5 lengths from the winner in 11th over 6f at Pinjarra Scarpside last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at Pinjarra Scarpside the run before. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. WISE WORDS (2) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 8 lengths over 6f at this track. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
