AIRWORTHY (1) is back from a lay-off of five months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 6¼f at this track. Placed in a recent trial. Expected to go very well. CHIX (3) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by a head over 6½f at Illawarra Grange. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is right in contention. REAL BAKER (8) went fast early over 6f at Bathurst last time and defied all challengers to score by 4. 5 lengths. Will again be prominent from the outset. Steps up a level but he is up to the task. JAEGERS (5) has been in the market at her last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest fifth at Gosford over 6f. Can sneak into the finish.
