GOLDEN STRAAND (10) has been kept fresh for this after he was strongly fancied last time but beaten 3 lengths into sixth over 6½f at Warwick Farm. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One to consider. CRUEL SUMMER (1) ran a bold race over this journey last start, racing on the pace and sticking on strongly to finish 2.5 lengths away in third at Randwick Kensington. Placed to advantage and can take this out.
