GOLDEN CENTURY (3) was only a nose from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 1m at Wyong. Will be fitter for that run, rates a leading winning chance. HAMMOON HEROINE (6) looks close to a win after finishing in the money at both runs, the latest when second at Newcastle over 7½f. Has upside and gets her chance to break through. THE BIG BLUE (4) is a consistent performer with three minor placings from three starts this time in work. Turned in another good performance at his most recent run when third over 7½f at Newcastle. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish. FARRAIGE (2) is a 32-start maiden who has been in the money 11 times. Could only manage fourth at the latest appearance over 1m2f at Mudgee. Has a good record at this distance with four top-three results from seven starts. Will find this much tougher but must be respected.
