DEPRIVATION (1) is racing well, scoring in a at Newcastle before finishing a nose from the winner in second last time over 6½f at Warwick Farm. Should be prominent from the outset. Likely to feature. LOVE SHUCK (2) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Randwick Kensington with success as favourite over 6f at Wagga two weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. JACENZA (6) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at Newcastle, beaten 2.25 lengths into seventh. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the key runners. NEED SOME LUCK (3) hasn't raced since finishing in the placings over 6½f at Warwick Farm and gelded during the break. Will strip fitter for a trial win. Rates an each way chance here.
