SARGE'S SERMON (1) proved too strong last start and scored by 0.3 lengths over 1m at this track (Turf). Boasts four wins here. Should go well again. GLENDALE (6) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 36 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1m at this track. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. FORT LANGLEY (7) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at Turf Paradise. Less impressive last time out when ninth over 1m at this track, beaten 7 lengths. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. HEAT N REHEAT (9) is a eight-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the J P Silva barn. Resumes after finishing eighth at Turf Paradise (Dirt) at his last run three-and-a-half months ago. Not seen at the trials but is in a nice race. Not to be underestimated.
