MACH TWO (10) returns from a break of six-and-a-half months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a third over 7½f at Remington Park. Expected to bring the good form from last campaign to this contest. NORTH ARM BAY (9) went forward and proved too strong last time out, scoring by 0.8 lengths over 7½f at this track (Turf). Tricky draw to overcome but does have good gate speed. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. WODETON (1) continues to race well with a win in a at Turf Paradise (Turf) before finishing 1.3 lengths away in second last time over 7½f at Turf Paradise (Turf). Good record at this journey with three wins and seven minor placings from 14 starts and shapes as a key runner. THE BLACK STRAT (4) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 2.25 lengths over 1m at Turf Paradise (Turf). Looks well placed so expect another big run.
