LONG LIVE (4) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 0. 9 lengths when fourth over 6½f at Goulburn a week-and-a-half ago after being prominent at the bend. Finds a more suitable contest and can take this out. WAVE DANCER (11) started at 11/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths at Hawkesbury over 7½f after being prominent at the corner. Finds the right race this time and can turn things around. OPTIMAL MOMENTS (7) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Matthew Smith barn. Finished off last campaign with a eighth at Mornington 11 months ago. Fitter for placing in a Warwick Farm trial and is in a nice race. One of the main chances.
