NEEDAWINNA (5) improved sharply on her fourth two starts back at Corowa with a win over 5½f at Echuca two weeks ago, getting home by one length after being in the firing line on the corner. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. ICONIC ROSE (8) gave away a considerable start over 7f at Albury last time before hitting the line well to finish sixth. One to watch for in the dying stages. SHOWTIME MAGGIE (6) was beaten 2. 25 lengths into fifth in a 6½f contest at this track last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around. FIRE YOUR GUNS (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on February 28 when beaten 2. 75 lengths into fourth at Wagga over 7f. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player.
