EMANCIPIST (1) found the line nicely to grab third last time out over 6½f at this track. Expected to be in the finish again. DECISIVE LASS (7) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Nowra but disappointed last time when seventh, beaten 5.5 lengths, at Hawkesbury over 6½f. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is a major player. SYCAMORE (6) has been racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Wagga over 7f. Tackling tougher opposition but should be competitive. MERISI (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at Randwick, beaten 29 lengths into 13th. Capable of featuring prominently.
