Looks better placed over this shorter trip so can atone. MISTER ME (8) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool, beaten 1. 3 lengths after being in contention on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. ACTIVE DUTY (7) resumed over 7f and turned in a fair run to finish fifth at Geelong. Has a solid second up record and better showing expected.
