BLACKTHORN (5) finished 2 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out at Townsville over 1m. Form over this journey is strong, boasting two wins from three starts. Well placed and should be in the finish. INTRUDER (6) doesn't win very often but ran a nice race last time out over 6½f at Townsville, finishing third and beaten 1. 75 lengths. Nicely placed to take this out. ROCK THE SUNRISE (4) well in the market in his last couple and has gone close without saluting, including a last start fourth at Townsville. May well be worth another chance. KIRKALL (7) produced a sound effort when resuming on turf when runner-up over 6f at Townsville. Came on from the run and scored on dirt over 1m at Oak Park last time. Ivo Fry stays aboard. Worth including in calculations.
