HOT PURSUIT (5) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 6f at Townsville. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. KING'S HALO (1) raced here on his home turf just nine days ago and did a good job to finish 0. 6 lengths away in second over 6¼f. Good effort last start and is worth following up. FLASHBANG (4) finished out of the money two starts back then he was always well out of his ground and was beaten 6 lengths when ninth in a 6½f contest at Mackay two weeks ago. Nicely placed to take this out. SINGULAR (7) produced a reasonable effort when sixth last start over 6f at Mackay. That followed a win at Mackay the start prior. Nicely placed to play a leading role.
