GOLD CLASSIC (1) was safely held last time when seventh over 6f at Townsville. May appreciate the step back in journey this time. Expected to bounce back. WHISKEY RIVER (2) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing eighth and beaten 9 lengths at Townsville over 5f after being prominent at the turn. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. RAFF VADER (3) has not raced since he scored over 5f at Townsville on February 27. This sets up nicely. NOOSHBAHOOSH (5) debuted with a win then was not as effective last time out when sixth over 6f at Mackay, beaten 8 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
