IRRESISTIBLE FORCE (2) was in the money last time at Mackay over 6f when favourite after being in the firing line on the bend. Draws ideally close to the inside. Expected to be in the finish. PELSAERT (4) finished second last time over 7f at this track to make it seven minor placings from 15 career runs. Has a good record at this distance with four top-three results from five starts. Will be handy despite the tricky draw. Will give backers a great sight. MR GRUMBLER (12) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 6¼f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot again.
